A real performance at Camborne Music Festival…
Members of our Academy have been active last week taking part in the Camborne Music Festival. There were excellent results for solos and duets from Lowenna, Morgan, Sam, Dylan and William.
The Academy under 16 quartet (Morgan, Dylan, Lowenna & William) won their class and not to be outdone the under 18 quartet (Bryher, Caroline, Morgan and Jennifer) followed suit with a win.
In the open ensemble (12 players) the adjudicator remarked “this was a real performance, a well rehearsed program played with real discipline” and awarded them first place.
After the event the adjudicator spoke with the Academy MD, Lee Rouse and commended him and the players on their performances.
