Academy success at Exmouth!
Massive congratulations to our Academy on winning the Best ungraded Band at the SWBBA contest held in Exmouth on 01.09.18. Lot’s of hard work in and out of the bandroom paid off when the band was led by Academy Band Manager Lee Rouse. Lee stood in 24hrs before the band were due to travel and compete in Exmouth as the bands MD Phil Matthews had been taken ill, all at Lanner wish him a speedy recovery. The band rallied and put on an excellent performance to an appreciative audience.
It was also the first outing of their brand new band jackets, ties and polo shirts. We are very proud of our Academy and wish them all the very best in future concerts, competitions and events!
